WE specialise in creating beautiful, bespoke cakes in my cake studio. However, Glitz cakes by Belle is not just about making a cake, it’s about producing something that’s personal to the individual, looks truly beautiful and tastes divine.

 We only use the finest quality ingredients including real butter, free range eggs, fair trade sugars and Belgian chocolates. We pride ourselves on our personal and friendly service, not to mention our meticulous attention to detail. We work closely with each client to make their vision a reality, creating the cake of their dreams and ensuring it tastes as good as it looks.

Local Gourmet

Our head designer Belle, spent several years working within the Fashion Industry (being a fashion designer) and is a creative perfectionist who enjoys nothing more than exploring current trends and experimenting with design, colour and texture. Glitz cakes by Belle was merely a dream, as she spent evenings and weekends completing cake decorating and sugar craft courses. We began by creating cakes for family and friends, until orders from friends of friends and guests at these parties led to us being fortunate enough to turn our passion into our careers.

Glitz cakes by Belle was born in 2013 (previously known as Lady’s cake house), since then we have continued to develop our skills, keeping up with the latest cake trends, creating hundreds of cakes (check out the gallery section for some selection).

Glitz cakes by Belle is run from our beautiful, purpose-built cake studio, in our home. It is a fully insured, registered food premise and has a full hygiene certification. All cakes are made freshly to order, hence why we have a limited number of bookings to ensure that we can give every order the attention and perfection they deserve.
